Naval and Maritime Academy ?

Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA) plays the most prominent role by imparting professional training for both Officers and Senior / Junior ratings in Sri Lanka Navy (SLN). The Academy is situated within the picturesque Naval Dockyard, Trincomalee. Trincomalee is considered as one of the best natural harbours in the world with rich history of maritime affiliation.

Out Bound Training Program

We had an unforgettable life experience from the out of university environment for as a ppd session which is coordinated by Madam Miss Sarasi and government. We had to participate leadership training programme in Naval and Maritime Academy in Trincomalee. It was a great experience during our university life.

In the evening, we had a camp fire on beach along with a talent show. The next day we had our breakfast around 7 a.m. Then we were grouped and given a task to go through the jungle with only a map and a compass. It was a thrilling experience. Then we visited the naval museum.

In the afternoon we were arranged a best lunch by the naval officers. Then our training programme was over. We has great , amaizing and unforgettable experience from there. We should thank for that naval base and offices for giving such program to us..
